MISHA ROITSHTEYN, MD

DR. MISHA ROITSHTEYN HAS BEEN PRACTICING PEDIATRICS IN THE EAST BAY FOR 27 YEARS. HE RECEIVED HIS UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE IN BIOLOGY AT SAN FRANCISCO STATE UNIVERSITY, HIS MEDICAL DEGREE FROM ALBERT EINSTEIN COLLEGE OF MEDICINE IN NEW YORK AND  HIS PEDIATRIC RESIDENCY TRAINING AT LUCILE PACKARD CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL AT STANFORD. DR. ROITSHTEYN IS BOARD CERTIFIED BY THE AMERICAN ACADEMY OF PEDIATRICS. 

DURING HIS MEDICAL CAREER HE SERVED AS AN ASSISTANT CLINICAL PROFESSOR AT THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA SCHOOL OF MEDICINE TEACHING MEDICAL STUDENTS DURING THEIR PEDIATRIC ROTATIONS. HE ALSO SERVED AS A MEMBER OF PEDIATRIC ADVISORY COMMITTEE FOR ALAMEDA COUNTY AND AS A PEDIATRIC EXPERT REVIEWER FOR THE  MEDICAL BOARD OF CALIFORNIA. 

HIS PERSONAL INTERESTS IN GENERAL PEDIATRICS INCLUDE SKIN DISORDERS, DEVELOPMENTAL PROBLEMS IN CHILDREN, ATTENTION DEFICIT DISORDERS, AUTISM, ALLERGIES AND HEALTH ISSUES SPECIFIC FOR ADOLESCENCE. IN HIS SPARE TIME HE ENJOYS PHOTOGRAPHY, READING ABOUT MEDICAL HISTORY AND TRAVELLING. 

HE IS FLUENT IN BOTH ENGLISH AND RUSSIAN. 

DR. ROITSHTEYN SPECIALIZES IN TREATING KIDS OF ALL AGES, OFFERING MEDICAL CARE FOR NEWBORNS, CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS. Dr. Roitshteyn is currently accepting new and former patients in his new san ramon office location.
